Hi Everyone! Recently I’ve been trying to restrict my buying when it comes to makeup and so far it was going good. But, before I knew it, I’d ran out of foundation and concealer and whilst in Superdrug I picked up a few extras!
L’Oréal is my go to drugstore makeup brand and I saw that they had released a few new products and decided to pick up the L’Oréal Infaillible Anti Redness Primer. If you’ve been reading my blog for a while then you’ll know that I am prone to having red skin so I’m interested to see what this product will be like! I also usually skip the primer stage of makeup so this will force me to incorporate it into my makeup.
Recently, I’d drifted away from using the L’Oréal True Match Foundation for no particular reason but because my skin is recently looking quite good and Spring is looming, I want to switch up my foundation to more liquidy *word?* foundation. I love how the true match foundation is super blendable so I’m looking forward to using it again. Having used the Collection Concealer for so many years now I’m pretty excited that they’ve released a new shade which is Extra Fair 0! After swatching this shade I’ve realised that its a perfect shade for my skin and I love how it doesn’t have any orange tones to it.
I’ve enjoyed using the Maybelline Instant Anti Age Eye Eraser to try to address my eye bags and make myself look more awake. I can’t believe that I haven’t used this product until now, the sponge applicator is lovely and cooling on the eyes and it doesn’t feel like its dragging the skin.
Lashes are something that I like to have in my makeup collection for any spontaneous night out occasions. I’ve picked up the Eyelure X Cheryl ones which have a fluttery look to them and aren’t too dramatic. The L’Oréal counter had a 3 for 2 deal on so I picked up the L’Oréal Lip Paint/ Matte 201 Off- White. I’ve seen the Lip Paints on the counters for a while now so this was the perfect opportunity to pick one up. I love a pinky nude so I’m looking forward to seeing if this will be a good everyday lip colour!
