Tarte is a makeup brand which unfortunately isn’t available yet here in the UK but can be shipped over from the US. I’ve been interested to try some of there makeup for a while now and in the Treasure Trove makeup set that I got for Christmas from the brand *thanks mum* in it was a miniature version of one of they’re most famous products, the Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara.
I’ve been using the mascara daily now for the past fortnight and have been really impressed with it. I’ve particularly been enjoying using it on days when I’ve not been reaching for my liquid liner as the mascara really helps to lift my lashes and open my eyes to make me look more awake *even if I’m not really!*.
First off, I really like the name of this mascara. Aesthetically, the Mascara has a snake skin style packaging which makes it easy to grip. I also quite like the deep purple colour because it makes it stand out from other mascaras. The brush/ wand is bristles which I personally prefer over a plastic brush. The wand really helps to separate out lashes, which for me, is something I really need in a mascara as my lashes are very prone to clumping together. For me, the formula of the mascara is very wet which I think is why the mascara gives such good length to the lashes.
All in all I’m pretty impressed with this mascara and have been enjoying incorporating it into my everyday makeup. Hopefully it won’t be long until Tarte is available in the UK without having to pay hefty shipping charges! Let me know your thoughts in the comments and follow if new!
