*Over the Christmas period I tried out a few skincare products from Clinique. I know that the changing your skincare all at once is considered as a cardinal sin because your bombarding your skin with too much change all at once, but truth be told my skin was already looking horrendous that I thought it couldn’t get much worse.*
The only experience that I’d had with Clinique was buying one of their foundations, I can’t remember the name, back when I was first getting into makeup . However, my mum’s friend who often frequents spa’s *living her best life* popped a few samples in with our Christmas present.
Clarin’s packaging is minimalistic but still pretty. So far I’ve tried the Pure Melt Cleansing Gel which it claims to be suitable for all skin types. This cleansing gel is quite cool as it comes out in the formula of a gel and as you rub it in it turns into an oil. For me, it feels luxurious and I’ve used it to take off my makeup using a muslin cloth.
Whether its the winter or the fact that I seriously suck at keeping my body hydrated, my skins been quite dry over the past few weeks. I’ve used once the Hydra Quench Cream- Mask. A pretty regular facemask and I’d say that because I’ve only used it once I can’t offer a review but watch this space.
With my skin turning quite dry I tried the Doux Polissant Gentle Refiner Exfoliator Cream. However, my skin took quite a bad reaction to this product as it went red and blotchy. However, this is possibly just my own skins reaction.
As for the Multi-Active Jour Day Cream I’ve found is a fab moisturiser and good makeup base. The moisturiser also claims to prevent lines by protecting the skin from the stresses of everyday life.
Finally, perhaps the one product that I’ve been the most excited and certainly needed is the Soothing Body Scrub For A New Skin. I’m super lazy when it comes to exfoliating my legs and arms despite the great results it creates. This exfoliator is scented with bamboo powders and helps to soften and firm the skin. A must have product for the winter.
So there we have it! I’m interested to keep using some of the products to be able to provide a more thorough review of each. Be sure to leave me your thoughts below and follow the blog if your new!
