Hi Everyone! So for today’s Sunday post I’m talking you through a few of my favourite Autumn style pieces which are perfect for the colder months. I’ve tried to include some cut aways of me wearing a few pieces *mostly jackets* to give you an idea of what they look like on. I’m hoping later in the month to do a lookbook but its always hard to get someone to take pictures for me haha
I think a leather jacket is a style piece which is perfect for all year round, but particularly during Autumn it can look really nice with chunky jumpers underneath and hats and scarfs. Leather jackets go with almost anything and I think they should be a staple piece in anyone’s wardrobe.
I’ve never really owned or been fussed about turtle necks in the past, however, last week when browsing Topshop post uni *very dangerous thing to do!* I found a camel coloured turtle neck top and bought it. They are very versatile pieces and really do keep you toasty without being too chunky like a jumper. I also think it can look extra chic if you bunch your hair up into the turtle neck so you have a faux bob!
A leather skirt is something a bit edger than a normal black skirt and can be worn for both during the day with thick black tights and boots or for the evening teamed with a pretty top and black high heels. In the picture above I’ve teamed it with a lace burnt copper top from New Look which I love!
Personally, I think that a trench coat is a super easy way to make any outfit look more put together. I particularly like a khaki green coloured trench like the one I have, it really makes you feel more sophisticated and is lovely with black jeans and boots for Autumn.
You might remember that back in August I got my hands on a bargain of a hat in Accessorize, I’ll link the post here if you fancy having a look. In the cold sunny Autumn days, I think wearing a fedora looks really nice to add a bit more style to an outfit.
*Off the Shoulder Dress*
The off the shoulder has been a big trend so far this year, and this dress that I bought from New Look recently is a perfect transitional piece that incorporates the style into the Autumn with the camel colour. This dress could be styled with black boots, a trench coat and pretty accessorizes.
I hope you liked reading this post and its given you some inspiration for some of the things that you can get your hands on for Autumn style. I could talk forever about Autumn clothing as it really is my favourite season for fashion ! Leave me a comment below and don’t forget that if your new please follow the blog ,it means a lot 🙂
