Autumn Lip Colours

Autumn Lip colours

~ Makeup~

As the darker evenings roll in I always like to crack out the darker toned lipsticks which make an epic statement lip for out for dinner or even everyday.  I’ve narrowed it down to 4 of my favourite Autumn lip colours but don’t fear I have a blog post coming up solely on the beloved Kate Moss 107.

 * Rimmel Kate Moss 30*

I can only describe this as a dark vine vampire purple that would make the perfect Halloween lipstick applied fully from the bullet as its so high pigmented.  Swatched, it still does have red undertones to it.  Its really creamy and has quite a sheen to it so it doesn’t feel too drying on the lips. I think this is a perfect Autumn lipstick applied either from the bullet or patted in .

*Kiko Lipstick 604*

I’ve already written a big blog post on this lipstick during the Summer.  Why, you may be wondering, am I then mentioning it as a lipstick for Autumn? Simply because its a great kick ass lipstick and there’s no hard fast rule that Autumn lips have just to be berry toned.  This lipstick looks lovely both day or night, is ever so creamy well pigmented and the packaging to die for.  I recommend you read my review on it here.

*MAC Please Me*

MAC please me is the dusty pink Autumn option in my collection.  Its quite a warm toned pink therefore in no way a Barbie pink that some of us may reach for in Summer.  Its from the matte MAC range, it is well pigmented but I find a tad drying on the lips.  The colour is perfect for everyday and all outfits

*Rimmel Apocolips 402 Across the Universe*

A liquid lipstick that has fantastic pigmentation and stain power for the drugtore.  Its a deep wine red similar to Rimmel 107 but in liquid form.  I’ve had this for a while and got a lot of use out of it, only critism I have of it is that it can feel a tad sticky on the lips.

Leave me a comment below telling me of your favourite Autumn lip colours and follow my blog if your not already for notifications of my new content!
